Editor’s Note: This feature is presented by our partners at Mammoth Mountain.
Living in a mountain town has its obvious pitfalls: lots of digging your car out from under the snow, perhaps a little less nightlife than a city, and wildlife taking up residence under your deck. But all that seems more than worth it to live the good life. The shred life. And many of us will do whatever it takes to live in the mountains so we can enjoy the fruits of that sacrifice: namely endless powder days and short lift lines during the week. And that’s all before we get to the joys of summer.
Welcome to “Lifers,” where we profile real people living real lives in mountain towns. This is Nick Miles, a Mammoth Mountain lifer for certain. Nick works at a bar so he can take full advantage of everything the Eastern Sierra has to offer. This is his story. And he’s definitely living the good life.
