The Inertia

Editor’s Note: “Power Trip” is presented by our partners at Visit California.

The Inertia is excited to announce the launch of the second installment of “Power Trip”, a series that documents good ol’ fashioned road trip adventures.

We’re back on the road with our partners at Visit California, and this time we’re taking on the lush and diverse lands of Northern California. For this three-part series, we set out with two charismatic explorers for a voyage that crosses five regions of NorCal: San Francisco, North Coast, Central Valley, Gold Country, and the High Sierra.

So, who are our adventurers? First, there’s Luis Medearis. Luis is a Sacramento-based cinematographer, photographer, snowboarder, and honorary sailboat Captain (see: Part 2). Second, there’s Jeremy Searle. Jeremy is an on-camera funny man, director, cinematographer, excellent surfer, and long-time collaborator with The Inertia. Together, Jeremy and Lu make up our dream team, ready to tackle any obstacle and/or adventure that NorCal can throw at them.

On this voyage, Jeremy and Luis cross as many items as they can off their California bucket list. They surf, dine, mountain bike (with World Champion and Olympian Kate Courtney), ride a hot air balloon, taste fine wines, sail the San Francisco Bay, taste farm-to-cup coffee beans, hitch a ride in an antique car, and Jeremy even challenges an X-Games Gold Medalist to a game of S-N-O-W.

Check out part one above. Tune in Wednesday, May 10th for part two.
