The Inertia

If you’re one of those people who just can’t get enough of that glorious, first-person, Go Pro shot looking straight out of a wide-open barrel then you should probably start crafting a hand-written thank you note to Brett Barley right now.

This is what it looks like to score Skeleton Bay at its absolute best, yet right on the threshold between perfectly peeling open tubes and enough size to start sketching people out. In fact, Barley arrived in time for a swell big enough that he actually spots an honest to goodness (almost) closeout section — a funny proposition considering people come here from all corners of the world to escape anything that resembles a closeout. Nonetheless, Barley makes an effort to elaborate on just how big this day at Skeleton Bay is but the footage can’t seem to do it justice.

Only the best. We promise.
