There are few people who have done more to expand the reach of surfing than Jamie O’Brien, Gerry Lopez, and Ben Gravy. Add Kelly Slater in there and you have the Hall of Fame of mainstream appeal. Well, Mr. Gravy met up with Gerry Lopez and Jamie O’Brien at the wave park in Lake Chelan, Washington and needless to say, it was a helluva time. “In my opinion,” Ben wrote, “there are three greats in surfing: Kelly Slater, Jamie O’Brien and Gerry Lopez. The fact that I’ve been able to surf with all of them is completely unbelievable!”
