Barra de la Cruz is one of the world’s finest waves. It was the site of one of the world’s best surf events, and in the years since, it’s become a bit of a Mecca. Josh Kerr was there for a particularly unruly swell, and it appears as though he and the wave were made for each other.
Kerr, who left the CT in 2017, recently found himself in possession of a Challenger Series (CS) berth. It seems he’s a bit rusty on the competition front, with a decent result in Newcastle that was followed by a pair of poor results and a no show. But when the waves are good, like they were in Barra when this was filmed… well, Kerr is still Kerr-azy.
