The MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal is all wrapped up, but the waves haven’t exactly stopped. They have, it appears, actually gotten better since the event, but that’s just part of the WSL’s semi-recent curse. They were better before, too, so after the final horn sounded, a few of the surfers decided to hang around for a few days and see what they could get. Kelly Slater, Kanoa Igarashi, Seth Moniz, and Leonardo Fioravanti were all part of an Ericeira session that the locals are going to remember for a while.
“Awesome to see the pros stick around for a few days after the end of the WSL Meo Ripcurl Pro Portugal to catch a couple around the WSR and put on a show,” wrote the creators of the video above.
