In early July, Mason Ho and Sheldon Paishon boarded a flight to Indonesia for the coveted Rip Curl Padang Cup. They stayed for a month, and while they most definitely scored at the event, they also scored outside the contest jerseys.
What you see above is a trailer for a two-part series called Hot PP7. The film(s) drop next Friday. Part one, according to Mason, “will start off with some sessions at Uluwatu then we venture down to the East Side. After that it goes to a flurry of waves from the 2019 Rip Curl Padang Cup. Followed up by a credit roll from MAYHEM”S 50th birthday party at White Monkey. It has all surfers, surfboard sizes and shapers.”
So what’s the second part going to consist of? “It’s a grand finale special day at Desert Point where the waves are firing and Sheldon shows how much he SUCKS at driving mopeds,” Mason explained.
The surfers involved are an all-star cast including Mason Ho, Sheldon Paishon, Clay Marzo, Keoni “Cheeseburger” Nozaki, Benji Brand, Nathan Florence, Matt Wilkinson, Mega Semadhi, Made Adi Putra “Bol”, and Eli Olsen. Could you ask for a better line up? We think not.
