Vissla does surf films a little differently from the rest. They’re able to do that because the cast of characters involved with every project they put their name on is a little different from the rest. Surfers who ride outside-the-box surfboards, creative directors with outside-the-box ideas. Rolling Review, Vissla’s newest offering to the surf-hungry mob, is a perfect example of that.
In the 20-minute film—an eternity in this day and age—the focus is on the surfers themselves. It’s Bryce Young, Eric Geiselman, Cam Richards, Derrick Disney, Noa Mizuno, and Toby Mossop in an up-close-and-personal look at what makes them tick and just how good at surfing they are.
