The Inertia

James Morgan has won many awards for his work behind a camera. Both a photographer and filmmaker of some acclaim, Morgan has worked in more than 70 countries around the world. One place, however, that has kept his interest piqued is the Coral Triangle, a massive bioregion half the size of the US.

Including the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea Solomon Islands and East Timor, the Coral Triangle is often called the “Amazon of the Sea,” because of the incredible amount of diversity beneath the surface. According to TheCoralTriangle.com, It harbors more species than anywhere else on the planet, with single reefs that contain more species than the entire Caribbean.
