How many times have you jokingly told a friend, “pics or it doesn’t count”? This month, a secret wave was all of the sudden not so secret anymore. One of our newest contributing photographers peeled back the curtain on his beautiful home, an island off the coast of Italy with waves you’d never expect to find in the middle of Mediterranean. Another traveling photographer chimed in on his visits to Puerto Rico as it rebuilds in the wake of last Fall’s bout with Hurricane Maria. His take: this Caribbean paradise is open for business, regardless of what you hear elsewhere.
We told some otherwise untold stories through photos in May. With the right creative mind behind a lens, photos say things words can’t.
