Chasing points on the Qualifying Series is a full-time job that can quickly sour a Championship Tour hopeful on travel for travel’s sake. Not so, apparently, for South Africa’s Beyrick De Vries. Between QS legs, the man recently managed to mount a tour of his native continent – hitting some of its most internet famous nooks (e.g. Skeleton Bay in Namibia) as well as some of its lesser-known crannies (e.g. Mozambique and Senegal).
The result is a 16-minute whirlwind exploration of some of the continent of Africa’s finest fruits. It’ll make you wonder why you’ve never been. Or if you have, longing to return.
