The Inertia

Driving by a skater and yelling for him to do a “kickflip,” is kind of like giving a trucker the horn signal by doing the arm pulling motion: they’re both pretty annoying. Eric Koston makes fun of the phenomenon in this series from The Berrics.

Tony Hawk is someone who could definitely get away with asking people to do kickflips. In fact, as a skater, he might be the one guy you’d actually do it for. He filled in for Koston and rewards these random skaters heavily with signed goods. Who wouldn’t want that? So how come one of the skaters didn’t come back at Tony with, “hey, do a 900!”
