The Inertia

Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere is a good thing for Australian surfers. Head out of Sydney and you can find a handful of ridiculous waves that aren’t even thought of as real hotspots. And the Tim Bonython short you see above takes a closer look.

This particular wave can hold a lot of swell, but in late May, it was put to the test. It was, as Bonython called it, Monday Madness. “I’ve filmed this place plenty of times,” Bonython wrote, “and this was definitely the biggest day out there.”

Only the best. We promise.
