It is possible to look at Teahupo’o from just the right angle, at just the right size, and think to yourself, “Sure, I’d take a swing at that.” There might be a shot or two in here that evoke such a moment. But then again, that might be one of her mean tricks — playing the part of a picture-perfect tropical barrel of manageable size, as if to let you forget this isn’t one of the deadliest waves on the planet.
