If you’re a fan of very long right-handers, Morocco is very likely on your list of places to go. It might not be the very first place you think of, but it probably should be, especially these days when every lineup feels packed to the gills. Sure, it can get crowded there too, but there are countless Moroccan waves that are world-class and still relatively untouched.
Morocco is a beautiful place, full of culture and rich history, so a surf trip there is far more than just a trip to surf. Like any good surf trip, the waves are just the icing on the cake — it’s the moments outside the waves that make or break it.
A few members of the O’Neill team recently pointed themselves to that land of plenty for the latest episode of Strike Missions, and they packed a whole lot into the trip. The waves, of course, were the cherry on top… and what a cherry it was.
