Originally from Santa Rosa, California, my love for the outdoors began with hunting. That passion soon evolved into bow hunting, surfing, fly fishing, rafting, spearfishing, free diving, rock climbing, and writing. My passions have taken me all over the states in pursuit of stories and experiences. From guiding in Montana, and surfing the west coast, to lobbying for public lands in DC, my relationship with the outdoors has given me so much in life.
