Paul is one of the original Welsh surfers and has surfed internationally for his nation of Wales, which is part of the United Kingdom. Paul held an unofficial world record of 1 ¾ miles for riding the nearby River Severn Bore in the ‘70s. Currently Paul writes a popular column in a local Welsh news magazine.
